ABSTRACT
The aim of this article is to present the cognitive-behavioral approach to understanding the negative symptoms of schizophrenia. Both in the classical approach and the so-called third wave (CFT, ACT, ST, DBT, MBCT, CBSST). Various conceptualization models and therapy models based on them are discussed. Attention is paid primarily to the negative symptoms of schizophrenia, which for many patients constitute the main source of suffering. Models that are directly focused on reducing negative effects are discussed, as well as those that do not focus directly on them, but can nevertheless contribute to their reduction. Similarities and differences are indicated, creating a map of a wide therapeutic offer for people suffering from schizophrenia spectrum disorders.
